MEET OUR TEAM
Director, Executive Search
Nicole began her career in Higher Education at Tusculum College (now University) in 2009 as an Admission Recruiter. During her time at Tusculum, she was part of the team that saw the largest enrollment growth at the school (at the time) and assisted in improving the student ambassador program. By the time she left Tusculum for King College (now university), she was the Assistant Director of Admission.
While at King, her work was instrumental in creating the student ambassador program and recruiting students for the Performing and Visual Arts programs. After two years, she became the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, and oversaw not only the student ambassador program but also the admission counselors on the undergraduate side of Admissions.
Based on her work at King, Nicole was encouraged to change gears from private colleges and universities and started work as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Welcome Center Coordinator at East Tennessee State University. During her time at ETSU, she helped to revamp the visit program, strategized, organized, and implemented all undergraduate recruitment events, and participated in leadership planning.
Currently, Nicole uses her expertise to help colleges and universities find top-tier leaders who can drive innovation, boost enrollment, and elevate the institution’s mission. You can count on her to do the heavy lifting—sourcing, vetting, and presenting candidates who not only meet the qualifications but align with your culture and vision. She lives by the mantra that “It’s more than filling a role—it’s shaping the future of your campus with the right leadership in place.”

Get to Know Nicole

Nicole resides in East Tennessee with her husband, John, their 2 boys (who share a birthday exactly 4 years apart), and their sweet dog, Sadie. While many evenings are spent carting kids around to their various activities (and there are plenty of activities!), she finds time to slow down and enjoy some of her favorite experiences, such as reading, jogging, and crocheting. At other times, you may find her planning the next family vacation or a trip to see long-distance friends, as family and friends mean the world to her.
